Quite sometime ago I picked up a Model 53 in .25-20 WCF.Bought RCBS dies ,Hornady 60 grain bullets, loaded up and off to the range I went.Fun little rifle to shoot.

Had a chance to purchase a Model 53 in .44-40,but did not ,as the seller wanted more than I would pay, for the not prefect condition the rifle was in.

Anyone else shooting a Model 53 rifle

I'd like to say I have a 53 but a '92 instead in .25-20 also a fun gun. I do like the look of the 53 also the 64. Maybe some day!

You that are in need of another gun. It's Ralphie time. Leave hints laying around the house for Santa.

Hints do not work in my house. The real Boss believes I have too many firearms already. If such a thing is possible,I am not sure of,but she is.LOL

The trick is to have enough of them that she can't keep track of new additions. ;)
