Just joined the group last week. I've owned several Winchesters over the years including a pre 64 Model 70 chambered in 308, and a couple of shotguns. I joined as I recently inherited a Model 94 made in 1906. It was in rough shape, but it's coming together now. I already received some excellent advice and hints about getting it done with period correct parts.

Welcome to the Forums. "New" is relative. In short order, you will be one of the "Guiding Lights" with your experience on the refurb of the 1906.
If it was easy, anybody could do it.
