Just bought an as new 94 Ae IN CAL. 307. sERIAL 559xxxx .
Stock is like an XTR , checkered.
barrel is marked 94 AE caliber . 307
Not marked XTR or BigBore.
Thing is, it has a 16 inch barrel, all info I find on this rifle shows it was made with a 20'' barrel.
Does anyone have info on this particular model?

Pretty rifle. I could find nothing about the short carbine length of your barrel. Ranch gun maybe? Just a lot of do's and don'ts on the Net when it comes to 307 v. 308 rounds, use of pointed bullets (don't) in a tubular magazine, any 30-30 bullet will do, etc.
If it was easy, anybody could do it.

Nothing found so far about the short barrel carbine (16") on the Net. Ranch gun maybe? Probably a fun gun though. Lot of do's and don'ts about the 307 (do) vs. 308 (don't), any 30-30 bullet (do), availability of new cases (do), etc.
If it was easy, anybody could do it.
