Hi Guys-
New member here from New York. I live on Long Island about 50 miles from New York City. I primarily target shoot pistols and play at skeet shooting with my sx3. Learning to hunt is on my bucket list but I think I'll be waiting to move out of New York before pursuing that interest.

Hey dreamer...welcome to the Forums and I believe you are right about "moving out" before you learn to hunt, unless you are hunting the two-legged variety, but even that is not going to help you in the woods. The Dems that run NYC are so "out there" in regards to guns, yet crime continues to rise. Stacking 7.5M people on top of one another does that to a place I guess. Or maybe it is the 5.5M there that are on the public dole. We're glad you're here and glad you are a shooter too - especially from that place. I know the folks in the upstate know what hunting is and could lend you a hand in that pursuit. You got to get connected there.
If it was easy, anybody could do it.
