How could you leave the Model 12, Model 21 and Super X Model 1 off of the discontinued list?
|
We are still working on the list; will get those up there as well. If you see any others that we don't have listed yet please let us know.
Thanks Dan |

The 1897 is one model of Winchester that deserves remembering. Many have lasted thru 4 or 5 generations and still shooting.
Here's a 2 barrel set from 1901 that I have. . 26" cyl and 32" full Regards: Rod |

What a beauty! It is truly amazing how a well made firearm can last over the years.

They sure don't make firearms like they used to.

Don't forget Model 42s.

Thanks for the add! We will get that one listed as well.

Another Winchester that shouldn't be overlooked is the Model 71. This 71 rifle is one I inherited from my Dad. Dad bought it used in 1945 after returning from WWII, it was for sale, hanging over a bar in Mackinaw City, Michigan. This 71 is a standard model rifle, long tang, circa 1937, bolt peep, caliber .348 WCF of course. It is responsible for the demise of more than 100 Michigan whitetails since 1945 and still gets out in the deer woods annually.

They sure don't make them like they use to.
Thank you for sharing those priced arms with us. “The Germans brought the best hunting rifle to the war. The Americans brought the best target rifle. The British brought the best battle rifle!”

Great rifle and a hard hitter for sure! |

Thanks Stags !!

I have my Dad's trusty Model 50. Restoring it to Factory standards. Need information on removing the butt stock.
