I heard a rumor that Winchester is no longer going to provide empty brass for the hand loader,has anyone else hear this?

Apparently Winchester has just released some brass don't know all the cartridges though. .45ACP , .30'06,.270, .45Colt.
Too old to be nice, never too old to learn!

I understand that it is not hard to make out of 32 Winchester Special , 30-30 and 38-55 . I have read that it just a matter of lubing the cases good and running them into the 32-40 sizing die a little at a time till you get all the way in . Eddie...........the ol' head stamp is the cool part ! I've made the 32-40 brass The hard one to push down is the 25-35 from the 30-30.....Back when brass was cheap I bought a case of winchester 30-30 brass for that just in case day LoL!!!! I need to find some fired .444 brass!! Do you shoot 32-40??? Ol Deuce Do The Best With What You Have!!!!

Have not heard anything about them doing away with brass. That would be sad.
I did just luck out for the day. Wife and I were riding the RZR and found a place where town folks go to shoot. Bonanza!! We picked up 47 pieces of once fired 30-30 brass and some other calibers as well. I also just sold 400 pieces of NIB, 300 Wby Mag, winchester brass to a couple of guys for .50 each. I couldn't use it and felt it was good to give someone a break. This is my very first post on this site. Hope this is OK and in keeping. UF |
