I found one a couple years ago. 24" octagon, 25-20, built in 1894.
I had to clean out 100 years of grease, oil and lead. I thought it had shallow rifling until I gave it 2 treatments with Blue Wonder bore cleaner. Nice deep rifling with a few scratches from steel cleaning rods.
It still has the BP firing pin that had too much protrusion for modern cartridges. I shortened it a few thousandths.
