To shoot or not

I have a Winchester 1892 WCF 44 made in 1919 and I just love it. I've already dropped two big boars with it (iron sights 75yds). What a blast!! My problem is that I want to send a lot of lead down range with it but I don't want to wear out the parts and destroy the value of the gun. Moving parts just wear out with use. I thinking buy a replica 1892 rifle to play with and hunt with my winchester 1892. Has anyone noticed anything adverse between the winchester and the replica versions?

Here's my rifle. I got the rifle early in the year and already got two big boars with it.

If you are used to the original, I think you will be disappointed in a reproduction. The 1892 is a great working model, has strong action, and should last many shooting generations. The days of getting a truly hand fitted rifle are long gone. I don't think you will find the quality of workmanship, feel, or fit & finish of any reproduction as good as the rifle you have. If it was mine, I would shoot it and enjoy it.

I just purchased a new Win/Miroku '92 SRC in 44-40. I also have an original SRC in 44-40. I have to say that the new one is as nicely made, and almost as slick as my 100+ year old original. In addition, the wood is plain, but beautifully fit and finished and the metal fit, polish and bluing is excellent. I have been very impressed with the construction of it. I had a minor issue with the extractor, but Winchester took care of that under warranty.
