hi just joined up, im from upstate ny on lake Champlain. I mess with a lot Winchesters and need info lots of the time this looks like a good place to get it. matter of fact the reason I just joined is to ask a little help. im working on a 94 I got and have a barrel question. I will post that question in the proper place, but any way hi all and here's a pic of my old stuff

hi ya fish....welcome. Drool.....most impressive lever family with beautiful condition. The '73 is of special interest to me. I sold my '73 many years past and still have a wave of seller remorse occasionally.

thanks guys, the 73 is kind of odd, it was made in 1888, the barrel is kind of short though? also the cal is not marked anywere however it is a 44-40, im thinking of getting a cody report on it. the others are all 1800s except for the 32 special. the cals of them are 32-20, 32,40, 38-40 and 38-55.
my favorite is the mod 92 made in 92 with the octagon barrel. its in the nicest shapa also. |

The rifle pictured in your other thread must feel like quite the outsider and not because of the barrel. It is just so.....new.
