Hi Folks,
I've just joined all the way from Scotland. I shoot a .243 Win and invariably use for fox control and a dainty little deer which goes by the name of Roe....which reminds me that buck season starts April 1st over here !!
I am toying with the idea of replacing my Featherweight stock with a Hogue rubberised full alum bedding block model and would ask you Stateside boys about the pros & cons of doing so. Also, I am assuming that my model will be a short action.

Many thanks

It would probably give you better piece of mind for your Scottish weather knowing you won't have to worry about damaging the walnut.
